The course will be marked with Orange day-glow arrows and track tape. The course will be available for inspection the day prior to the race.
Single arrows must be passed within 5 meters. Where a pair of arrows (gated) have been placed or taped both sides’ riders must pass through.
Blue taped areas walking pace only. (Refueling, lap scoring)
If you leave the marked course for any reason you must, where possible re-join at the same place or at the earliest possible opportunity without gaining any positions or advantage. Under no circumstances should you ride against the flow of the course or leave your machine on the track.
Pit Area and Re-Fuelling
Speed limit in and around the pit area and lap scoring is Walking Pace (max 5mph) no overtaking allowed within these areas marked with Blue hazard tape.
Only one support crew member per rider (16yrs or over) allowed in the refueling area strictly NO SMOKING.
Bikes requiring fuel prior to race start will be allowed to top up in the paddock area but riders must make others around them aware that refueling is taking place. Only recognised fuel devices (e.g funnel, fuel can, fast-fill fuel can) to be used.
Outside Assistance
Outside assistance will be permitted but the rider must be primarily in control of the machine at all times.
Prior to Race Start
Bikes must be Scrutineered before placed on the correct row at the start line. All riders are asked to be present at the start line 10 minutes prior to the start of their race. The briefing will be given by the Clerk of The Course giving important safety information as well as any last minute changes to the event.
